Hope and Homes for Children Rwanda has received awards in recognition of the impact of the programs, which have positively transformed the lives of the vulnerable individuals we serve, especially children, including children with disabilities and their families:

CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION
FROM MIGEPROF

In 2012, Hope and Homes for Children received a Certificate of Recognition from MIGEPROF to appreciate a significant contribution, services, and strong partnership in advancing children’s rights.

2014 LARISSA Award

In 2014, Hope and Homes for Children received the 2014 LARISSA Award for Child Deprivation and Vulnerability in Africa. This Panafrican award recognized our exceptional service, dedication, and efforts in addressing child deprivation and vulnerability in Africa.

First place award in INNOVATE 4 Disability inclusion

In 2020, Hope and Homes for Children won the first place award in the Innovate 4 Disability Inclusion Hackathon by the Rwanda Information Society Authority. The SMS technology program, which was created to improve the lives of children with disabilities, received recognition for its innovative and transformative impact.

Award of Appreciation from NCPD

In 2021, marked another milestone for Hope and Homes for Children Rwanda as we received an Award of Appreciation from the National Council for Persons with Disabilities (NCPD). This recognition stands as a testament to the impact of our  commitment and support in promoting the well-being of individuals with disabilities.

These awards stand as a testament to the firm passion and hard work of our team, as well as the collaborative efforts of our partners and supporters. Each recognition serves as a powerful validation of our work to create a nurturing and secure environment for every child, enabling them to thrive and reach their full potential.

As we move forward, we remain steadfast in our determination to continue making a profound difference in the lives of those we touch, especially lives of children including children with disabilities. These awards not only inspire us to persist in our work but also reinforce our commitment to excellence in all its aspects, as we strive to create a brighter and more hopeful future for the children and families under our programs.
